I just confirmed the full details of my flight. Fifteen hours. Fifteen hours.

Departing Heathrow 1025.
Arriving LAX 1330 [2130 GMT]
2.5 hour layover.
Departing LAX 1600 [0000 GMT]
Arriving San Diego 1700 [0100 GMT]

And then it’s an hour to the camp from San Diego and that’s after customs and everything.

And it’ll be dinner time.

Wow that’s going to be a long day.

Our very own Dai Knight (who was a counselor at Independent Lake Camp for 6 summers!) is leaving us for the rock’n’roll lifestyle on the road with his band Hopeless Heroic. We rock them in the office all the time so check them out on Facebook or Spotify and if you like them you can get involved by helping them to raise the funds for a tour van whilst donating money to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, which is a fantastic anti-bullying charity. Just head to http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/hopelessheroic to find out more!
